The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. What matters is the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
